Thank you for scrolling down this far! If you made it here, you are probably interested in what we have to offer. Let me tell you a little bit more about us. ResoNix is a company that produces the highest-performing automotive sound treatment materials on the market, including constrained layer dampers (CLD), sound absorbers, noise barriers, and decouplers. In addition to our own industry-leading products, we also sell and distribute a carefully curated selection of items from other premium brands, making ResoNix a one-stop shop for high-quality car audio systems. Every product we offer has been chosen or designed with one goal in mind—delivering the best results possible that you can trust.
What makes ResoNix different? First, it starts with our approach. ResoNix was born out of frustration with the subpar performance and misleading claims of other sound treatment products in the market. We needed materials that met the highest possible standards for real-world applications, and when we couldn’t find them, we created them. Our products are backed by in-depth knowledge of how sound treatment works, both in theory and in practice. We have combined years of hands-on experience with data-driven research and testing to create a line of products that outperforms anything else available. From our CLD Squares to our Fiber Mat sound absorbers, every material is engineered without shortcuts and designed to provide unparalleled performance.
ResoNix is also proud to say that all of our sound treatment materials are made in America. This isn’t just a talking point, it’s a reflection of our commitment to quality and accountability. We also partner with other car audio manufacturers such as Accuton Automotive, Micro Precision, and Karma Mobile Audio who share our values and meet our exacting standards, ensuring that every product we produce and sell is built to last and performs as promised. For example, our CLD Squares feature a specially formulated butyl compound with no fillers or gimmicks, combined with a high-grade aluminum layer that delivers superior damping performance. These materials are not just “good enough.” They are the best on the market, as confirmed by independent testing and real-world standardized test results.
But our products are only part of the story. At ResoNix, we believe that customer support and education are just as important as the materials we sell. We don’t just want you to buy our products; we want you to use them to their full potential. That’s why we provide detailed resources, personalized advice, and unmatched customer service. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a DIY enthusiast, we’re here to help you make the right choices for your specific application. From choosing the right materials for your goals to providing step-by-step guidance on installation techniques, our mission is to make your project a success.
What really sets ResoNix apart is our real-world experience. ResoNix started as a necessity for Apicella Auto Sound, where we specialized in building high-end car audio systems that demanded absolute perfection. We know what it takes to create a system that not only sounds amazing but also performs flawlessly in a moving vehicle. Unlike many other companies that rely solely on marketing buzz, we understand the practical challenges of treating and working within automotive environments. This means we don’t just design products that look good on a spec sheet. We design, produce, and sell solutions that work better than anything else on the market.
Take, for example, our ResoNix Guardian sound absorber. It was created because no other product could fully meet the needs of automotive applications. Featuring hydrophobic melamine foam for superior absorption and thermal insulation, Guardian outperforms competitors in every measurable way. Similarly, our Fiber Mat products are among the only ones made in the USA using advanced fibrous technology for maximum acoustic performance. And when it comes to our ResoNix Barrier, we’ve moved beyond outdated materials like mass-loaded vinyl to offer a flexible and shapeable noise barrier that is thinner, heavier, and easier to work with, while still being incredibly effective.
At ResoNix, we don’t just stop at sound treatment. We also distribute high-end audio products, including Accuton Automotive and Micro Precision, and offer services like Remote DSP Tuning, and Sound System Design & Installation Consultation services. Whether you’re looking for products to quiet road noise, improve the clarity of your sound system, or solve noise issues in industrial or marine environments, we have the expertise and products to help. Everything we do is rooted in the belief that quality and performance should always come first.
If you’re tired of misleading claims, subpar materials, and poor customer service, ResoNix is here to change the game. We’re not here to sell you something you don’t need or offer generic, off-the-shelf solutions that fall short. We’re here to provide the best tools, the best guidance, and the best results in the industry. At ResoNix, it’s not just about making your car quieter or your sound system better, it’s about doing it right, every time.

Every vehicle and goal set is different. Start with our Sound Deadening Buyer’s Guide to understand what each material does and where to use it. If you want a tailored plan, book our Sound System Design and Installation Consultation.
To help offset the cost, up to 40% of the consultation fee can be
credited toward ResoNix product purchases made within 30 days.
Coverage depends on vehicle size, areas treated, and performance goals. Our Sound Deadening Buyer’s Guide
includes typical square footage estimates for doors, floor, roof,
trunk, and more. If you are unsure, contact us with your vehicle and
goals for guidance.
Most people ask this because they are not sure what physically fits.
Fitment varies by vehicle, trim, and where you plan to install it. Check
available depth carefully and avoid interfering with moving parts,
window tracks, airbags, and service access. As a general rule, choose
the thickest that comfortably fits the space. See the product page for
details: ResoNix Fiber Mat.
We are building an ongoing fitment sheet from customer confirmations. If
you can share what fit in your vehicle, please let us know to help
others.
If an item is on backorder, the estimated restock date appears on its product page and is updated as we get new information.
Domestic orders that include a backordered item will ship in two parts:
in‑stock items ship immediately, and the backordered items ship as soon
as they arrive. For international orders, we currently ship when all
items are in stock. This may change as we complete our Shopify migration
and move into our own warehouse, and we will update this page if it
does.
You will receive an order confirmation by email, then a tracking email
once your order ships. If you need an update or anything looks off, contact us with your order number.
We recommend high‑quality, proven DSPs matched to your system design and goals. If you want a custom recommendation, book our Sound System Design and Installation Consultation.
