Refund policy
To complete a return, please go to our ResoNix Returns Portal
We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return. We only accept returns of un-opened ResoNix Sound Solutions sound treatment products, including but not limited to CLD's, sound absorbers, noise barriers, etc. We offer store credit and exchanges on all other products and brands such as but not limited to Helix, Brax, Accuton Automotive, Micro Precision, Steg, Audiomobile, etc. also with a 60-day window.
To be eligible for a return, store credit, or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, or unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Products that are returned damaged, used, or missing components may be subject to denial or partial refunds at our discretion. No exceptions.
Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:
11 Holt Drive, Suite 123, Stony Point, NY, 10980
You MUST put "ATTN: Matt XXXXX" on the name, with "XXXXX" being your order number so we know which order is being returned. If this is not added, we cannot know whose order is being returned. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Items must be packaged securely. Products damaged in transit due to improper packaging may be denied refund, store credit, or exchange.
You can always contact us for any return question at customerservice@resonixsoundsolutions.com
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Photo evidence and a written description may be required before a resolution is issued. All claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned for a refund, such as Helix, Brax, Accuton Automotive, Micro Precision, etc (anything non-ResoNix branded products). These items are only eligible for store credit or exchange if the product is inspected and verified by us to be in perfect, resellable condition. If any signs of use, installation, or damage are found, the return will be denied.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
This includes any products purchased with a promotional discount or coupon code. No exceptions.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method. Store credit or exchange may be issued in cases where a full refund is not applicable.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at customerservice@resonixsoundsolutions.com
Suspected Defective Products and Warranty Claims
If an electronic product, speaker, or subwoofer is believed to be defective, the customer must contact ResoNix Sound Solutions before returning the product. The customer must cooperate with all reasonable troubleshooting and diagnostic steps requested by ResoNix or the product manufacturer. This may include providing photographs, videos, wiring information, system configuration details, measurements, test results, or other information needed to identify the cause of the reported issue.
A return authorization must be issued before any product is shipped to ResoNix. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
If the customer is unable to complete the required troubleshooting due to a lack of appropriate tools or physical capability, the product may be returned to ResoNix for in-house inspection and testing. Unless otherwise authorized in writing, the customer is responsible for the initial cost of shipping the product to ResoNix.
If inspection confirms that the product has a defect covered under the applicable ResoNix or manufacturer warranty, the available remedy may include repair, replacement, exchange, store credit, or a refund of the amount paid for the product, depending on the applicable warranty terms and circumstances of the claim.
When a covered defect is confirmed, ResoNix will reimburse the customer’s reasonable standard ground shipping cost for returning the product, provided that a valid shipping receipt is supplied. At the customer’s request, this amount may instead be issued as store credit. Expedited shipping, packing services, special handling, insurance, and other optional shipping expenses will not be reimbursed unless approved by ResoNix in writing before shipment.
Only manufacture defects are covered. If our inspection and test determines that the product is functioning properly, or that the reported issue was caused by improper installation, incorrect wiring, system configuration, incompatible equipment, misuse, abuse, accidental damage, overdriving, thermal damage, inadequate power or grounding, or a modification or repair that caused the reported issue, the claim will not be considered a covered defect. The customer will remain responsible for all shipping costs, including the cost of returning the product to the customer.
A product not meeting the customer’s expectations, producing an undesired result within a particular installation, or being incompatible with other equipment does not by itself establish that the product is defective.
Products must be securely packaged for return shipment. The customer is responsible for damage caused by improper or inadequate packaging and for any loss or damage occurring before the shipment is received by ResoNix. Original manufacturer packaging should be used whenever possible, and all shipments should include tracking and appropriate insurance.
Some products may need to be forwarded to the manufacturer or an authorized service facility for further inspection. In these cases, the manufacturer’s warranty terms and claim determination may govern the available remedy, subject to applicable law.
Proof of purchase, the product serial number, and any other documentation reasonably required to process the claim must be provided upon request.
