ResoNix PTR Series Subwoofers are currently in development. These are going to be our Ultra-Shallow mounting depth line of subwoofers that will perform excellently in very small sealed enclosures. They will prioritize ultra low distortion and linearity in very small sealed enclosures within their mechanical limits, all in an ultra-shallow form factor.

Goals and design notes for the PTR Ultra-Shallow Subwoofer

  • Ultra shallow 10" and 12" woofers for "rear subwoofer" and "front subwoofer" use. About an inch shallower than the GUS Series subwoofers.
    • The 10" will be more geared for front sub use. The 12 will be more flexible.
    • Target Mounting Depth of ~3.1" for the PTR-10, ~3.3" for the PTR-12
  • Front-mounted magnet for the shallowest mounting depth possible.
  • Extremely small sealed enclosure requirements
  • Overhung motor design similar to the GUS Series
