"After years of using my umik-1 to tune my car and friends/customers cars i was blown away with the difference that the earthworks mic made after my first tune using it. The difference in accuracy is phenomenal, and having the option of using loop back will help me identify phase issues in cars."
"I've been using the Earthworks M23 and Scarlett 2i2 combo for over a year to tune the audio systems of my clients. It only takes me about 30 seconds to set up in preparation for tuning. One thing that I love about the 2i2 is the thoughtful user interface. It keeps all wiring plugged into the back, and all knobs, indicators, and buttons placed conveniently on the front of the unit. Wiring can get messy fast in a car interior, so this helps keep things organized. The ability to make time/phase measurements using the loopback function provides a significant advantage over cheaper USB mic offerings, like the Umik. There is no other combination of interface + microphone that I'll ever use for my sound system tuning needs."
