The Steg Master Stroke SS652C is a wideband 2-way component set designed for high-performance active systems, featuring a low-distortion 6.5 inch midbass and a compact 2.5 inch wideband driver that extends all the way to 20kHz. This set is ideal for minimal-complexity installations in vehicles with 2.5 inch OEM speakers or custom setups where a low-profile design is preferred.
The Steg Master Stroke SS652C is a premium 2-way wideband component speaker set designed for vehicles equipped with factory 2-way wideband systems, such as those found in select Toyota, GM, and Mercedes-Benz models. While intended as a high-performance, drop-in upgrade for these OEM applications, the SS652C is also a great choice for low-profile custom installations where space is limited but sound quality cannot be compromised.
The 6.5 inch midbass driver (SS-65) features a hybrid neodymium and ferrite motor, low-inductance 55.8mm TILSV voice coil, and a lightweight TIL diaphragm. This combination delivers clean, accurate midbass with excellent dynamics and low distortion, making it well-suited for both factory and aftermarket amplification.
The 2.5 inch wideband driver (SS-26) is engineered to handle the entire midrange and high-frequency range, eliminating the need for a separate tweeter. With its neodymium motor, lightweight Kapton diaphragm, and compact size, it extends cleanly to 20kHz while fitting into tight OEM dash or A-pillar locations.
Hand-made in Italy to Steg’s ultra high-end standards, the SS652C brings exceptional clarity, tonal accuracy, and refinement to a wide range of vehicle platforms, whether you’re upgrading a factory system or building a space-conscious custom install.
Every vehicle and goal set is different. Start with our Sound Deadening Buyer’s Guide to understand what each material does and where to use it. If you want a tailored plan, book our Sound System Design and Installation Consultation.

Coverage depends on vehicle size, areas treated, and performance goals. Our Sound Deadening Buyer’s Guide
includes typical square footage estimates for doors, floor, roof,
trunk, and more. If you are unsure, contact us with your vehicle and
goals for guidance.
Most people ask this because they are not sure what physically fits.
Fitment varies by vehicle, trim, and where you plan to install it. Check
available depth carefully and avoid interfering with moving parts,
window tracks, airbags, and service access. As a general rule, choose
the thickest that comfortably fits the space. See the product page for
details: ResoNix Fiber Mat.
We are building an ongoing fitment sheet from customer confirmations. If
you can share what fit in your vehicle, please let us know to help
others.
If an item is on backorder, the estimated restock date appears on its product page and is updated as we get new information.
Domestic orders that include a backordered item will ship in two parts:
in‑stock items ship immediately, and the backordered items ship as soon
as they arrive. For international orders, we currently ship when all
items are in stock. This may change as we complete our Shopify migration
and move into our own warehouse, and we will update this page if it
does.
You will receive an order confirmation by email, then a tracking email
once your order ships. If you need an update or anything looks off, contact us with your order number.
We recommend high‑quality, proven DSPs matched to your system design and goals. If you want a custom recommendation, book our Sound System Design and Installation Consultation.

Please open every box and wrapper fully, since small items are sometimes
packed inside larger kits for protection. If something still appears
missing, reach out with your order number and what you are not seeing.
