The Steg Master Stroke MSS6 is a high-end 6.5 inch midbass driver engineered for active systems that require precision, control, and dynamics in the low and midrange frequencies. Whether you’re building a competition-level sound quality system or a refined daily setup, the MSS6 offers the performance and build quality necessary to meet the highest standards.
At the core of the MSS6 is a lightweight, carbon fiber cone loaded with resin, designed for maximum stiffness and minimal coloration. It’s driven by a neodymium motor and a 25.5 mm voice coil on a 1-EISVW BASV former, offering excellent control, fast transient response, and low inductance for improved clarity and accuracy. The suspension system includes a Konex spider and 55sh rubber surround for consistent mechanical behavior and long-term durability.
With a resonance frequency of 68 Hz, a wide usable frequency range (60 Hz – 4.5 kHz), and high efficiency at 87 dB, the MSS6 integrates easily into a wide variety of active 2-way and 3-way systems. Its low distortion and extended upper midrange capability allow for flexible crossover design, whether paired with a wideband driver or traditional tweeter.
Hand-crafted in Italy to the strict standards of Steg’s Master Stroke line, the MSS6 combines excellent linearity, power handling, and build quality into a compact midbass solution.
