The ResoNix Sound Solutions Sound Deadening Roller is the best and most installation-friendly sound deadener roller available. There are a few aspects that make this the best sound deadening roller in our experience. First, the angled ABS-plastic handle. The angled handle allows for a more comfortable use, better leverage if needed, and can reach into tight locations better than standard handles. The stainless steel wheel is the second part of this roller that takes it to the next level. The roller is much heavier and sturdier, and will outlive most of your tools. It is also a flat roller, which is very important for maintaining the effectiveness of your CLD.

When using a roller with a ridged surface, yes, it might look cool. But the problem is, it stretches out and provides “relief” for the aluminum constraining layer of your CLD. And lastly, it features a ball bearing for smooth and consistent use that will outlast any other product of this type.

"The 2024 yamaha jetboat (1 eng) has had factory design mod’s to reduce the higher pitched noise. It helps but the boat still needs / I wanted less of this in the 1 - 4khz range. Mega CLD (20 sq ft) & Lockout (8 sq ft) were ordered. Installed now are about 16 sq ft & all of the Lockout. It has definitely helped. We’re able to hold a decent conversation now while cruising. I did order 5 more sq ft that I want to still install. Areas treated in order of most squares used are - ^ bilge / rear area + waterbox was covered (rearmost 80% - caution on front ‘fresh eng exh side’). + under swim platform standing area fiberglass + floor / sides some + under swim platform seat lg access cover. ^ Eng bay - factory foam has been left alone - no CLD added yet. + Front of bay lower + rear top of bay + Drivers side (port) rear seat - 2 squares against eng side. This boat is fiberglass & resonates with eng & jetpump higher freq’s. Resonix is my helper."
