"I have had the pleasure to put these Accuton C165AM's against some stiff competition in a head to head showdown when deciding which 3 way Midbass would offer the best possible performance. It was very revealing just how piston like these driver's are in their low distortion, light cone mass, and detail retrieval. Previously, sheer output was a metric I would use to grade Midbass. Overtime you learn to value the intricacies that are harder to reproduce. There is simply no bloat or excess decay to the Midbass response. A truly end game , top tier competition worthy driver."

"By far the best midbass speaker I have ever had. If you haven't heard these, you should! Upgraded from JL audio C7 650's, there really is no comparison. The accuton play crystal clear all the way to the top, punchy, tight midbass, deep vocal presence. Powered by a Mosconi Pro 430 bridged there is more than enough head room to run these, for reference."
