"This was my first SQ sub, and wow I didn't know bass could be so tight and clear. This sub can impress you with volume but it shines playing tight fast bass and in my sealed box it stays punchy. Very happy with this sub. Not to mention it looks amazing."
"Have tried several different subwoofers in my truck over the past 3 years or so - JL 12TW3s, Morel Ultimo 12s and for the past couple of years the Audiofrog GB12s - which I thought I wouldn't ever replace given the depth and airspace restrictions I have in my truck. I took a leap of faith on the Encore 12s after hearing a lot of hype surrounding their performance and I'm happy I did - these subs are truly impressive. The GB12s were very musical, transient, played quite low (or so I thought) and the Encores above 30hz sound almost identical to the GBs - the difference, I have found, is below that threshold. The Encores have significantly more capability (output, composure and audible extension) in the deepest of bass. I find myself giggling as I am running through my playlists again and listening to how the Encores just hammer away with anything you through at them. Truly an excellent subwoofer. Now to find an excuse to try the 15 soon!"
