Thanks to its extremely low moving mass of just 2.1 grams, the 5.8 offers excellent transient response and tonal accuracy across the midrange and into the top end. The paper cone material avoids the harshness and coloration common in many small wideband drivers, making it a great fit for systems where natural reproduction is a priority. Despite its small size, it produces a full-bodied sound that integrates easily with midbass drivers in both two-way and three-way configurations.
